I say nobody cop them and send message to Nike that we want high quality product, but not at the price point they are trying to sell us at. I'd go for these if they were $180 and the regular Lebron 9s were $160. Less air, but more money? That arch makes me not able to wear it with my flat feet.

It just so happens that these are less ugly than those but still ugly. The only LeBrons worth buying were the 7's and 8's. These nike flyknit shoes are right back to where the line started. They look ugly on feet. The only reason people want them is because they have his name attached to them. If this was just a shoe that Nike put out, you wouldn't want them. Tue, 20 Dec 2011 18:31:05 0000 /?p=292743#comment-357336 these things made every major sneaker website crash i ordered them about 2o times on every website and got jerked big time they were sold out online the first 5 minutes they dropped crazy i hadda wait in nike huarache line in philadelphia from 7:30 am to 11 am just to get 1 pair the store i went to onli had 9 pairs and i was 8th in line and everyone infront of me wore a bigger size then me thank god by the time i got in the store it was a 9 and 9.5 left they wouldnt sell me both so i grabbed my 9s smiled and bounced hahaIts good to know im not a Hypebeast though, as i bought these when everyone(90%) was saying how ugly the 9 was and would "never cop".
Agreed. But the NBA lockout ending on Christmas Day has nothing to do with LeBron James and his legacy. He played no part in the mediation talks, so why would a mediocre Christmas colorway of the LeBron 9 go down as one of the best LeBron in history? There isn't a single LeBron shoe that is tied in with a major milestone because he hasn't achieved any. The Miami Nights V2 Low was supposed to be a Championship shoe, but ended up being exiled to Asia and later popped up in limited numbers in Miami. The Air Max LeBron VII 'MVP' wasn't released because his move to Miami made the shoe look awkward.

I don't think these are the shoes that will release on 3/1. Although for some reason Nike originally announced the Kobe VII as Black/Tour Yellow (which it is) and changed it to Black/Del Sol. The dunkman has always been Electric Green. If they call that volt to  add extra hype to it, I will be very disappointed. |
